The man who was shot in northeast Wichita Wednesday night has died and police are still searching for suspects.
The victim drove himself to the QuikTrip station at 13th and Oliver shortly after 7 p.m. last night and flagged down an off-duty officer.
He was rushed to an area hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, and died a few hours later.
Police tracked the shooting location to the 1700 block of Northeast Parkway, but so far have no leads and no suspects.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
Police have not yet released the identity of the victim. This is the city's first murder of 2013.

Wichita Police are investigating a shooting that sent a man in his forties to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest.
It happened shortly after 7 o'clock Wednesday night at 13th & Oliver. Police say the victim drove to the Quik Trip at 13th and Oliver and contacted an off-duty police officer for help.
The man was transported to Wesley Medical Center in critical condition. Police Sgt. Don Story says they are still trying to determine where the shooting took place, but it may have happened in the 1700 block of Northeast Parkway where there was the reports of shots fired in the area.
"We have investigators who are basically researching our victim and we'll see where those leads take us and then again to continue processing the two crime scenes." According to Sgt. Story.
We expect to learn more during a police briefing Thursday morning.
