A baby being treated at a Wichita hospital is in police protective custody after drugs were found in her system.
Around 3 p.m. yesterday, a woman brought her 3-month-old daughter to Via Christi Hospital St. Joseph because she was having a seizure.
Doctors performed a blood test, and the child tested positive for cocaine and meth.
The Exploited and Missing Child Unit is now investigating. Three other children live at the home, ages 2, 10 and 14, but so far they have not been taken into protective custody.
The baby girl's current condition is unknown. No arrests have been made.
