A Wichita man has pleaded guilty to robbing an area bank last February.
During a hearing Tuesday, 59-year-old Donald Young entered a guilty plea to robbing the Wells Fargo Bank at 455 S. West St. in Wichita on February 10.
In the plea, Young admitted that he walked into the bank and presented a note that said, "I have a gun. Remain calm. I only want fifties and hundreds. Do not sound any alarm or make a scene."
Young was arrested by Sedgwick County Sheriff's deputies a short time after the robbery while still in possession of the money and note.
He is currently set to be sentenced on December 17th, and faces a maximum of 20 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000.
