A man was hurt after being pistol-whipped during a home invasion overnight in southeast Wichita.

Shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday, two men broke into a home in the 2000 block of South Green Acres. That's near Mt. Vernon and Edgemoor.

Once inside, one of the suspects reportedly pistol-whipped a 34-year-old man, leaving cuts and swelling to his face. The men then took a gun, ammunition, cash and marijuana.

A 4-year-old girl who was asleep and a 28-year-old woman were also in the home, but not injured.

The victim told KAKE News that he didn't know the suspects, but heard one of them call the other 'G-Shock.'

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call police.
