Wichita Police are searching for a suspect who injured another man by pinning him with a forklift.

The bizarre crime happened around 2 a.m. this morning at Bodycote Thermal Processing, located in the 1600 block of South Ida. According to police, three employees coming inside from a break saw an unknown man sitting on a forklift inside the business, and asked him to leave.

Instead, the suspect began to drive the forklift around, hitting objects inside the building. He then hit and pinned one of the employees against a metal cage before he got off of the forklift and ran away.

The 44-year-old employee's leg was cut and broken in the incident.

Officers are searching for a white or Hispanic man in his mid 20s who's about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a medium build and a beard. He was wearing a blue sleeveless shirt with a number on it, black jeans and a cap. Police believe he got inside the business by pulling apart the fence and entering through an overhead garage door.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
