A Wichita man has been arrested for child abuse after police said he attacked his teenage daughter.
Officers were called to an apartment at 3232 S. Clifton after 3:00 a.m. Tuesday.
Police said an intoxicated 34-year-old man came home and started arguing with his wife. The couple's 13-year-old daughter came into the room. Officers said the man choked his daughter several times and threw her on the ground. The man is also accused of hitting his wife. The man is also accused of headbutting the bathroom door and punching a hole in the ceiling.
Police arrived and arrested the man for child abuse and destruction of property.
