Before you head out the door, we like to catch you up with what happened while you were sleeping.

For the most part, it was a quiet Wednesday night and Thursday morning in and near Wichita.

Emergency crews were called to an injury accident about 2:40 a.m. at Waterman and Zelta -- northeast of Kellogg and Greenwich Road. Those involved had only minor injuries and nobody had to be taken to the hospital.

Sedgwick County Emergency Dispatchers had to call emergency crews to their own building about 3 a.m.

Someone was stuck in an elevator in the emergency communications center, 714 N. Main. Of course, the Wichita Fire Department's Fire Station One is across the street, so that person was rescued quickly.

A couple of western Kansas school districts tell KAKE News their buses will be running mud routes Thursday morning. Those districts are Ulysses USD 214 and Plains-Kismet USD 483.

If you notice emergency traffic in your neighborhood while you're trying to sleep, you can ask us about it on our Good Morning Kansas Facebook page and we'll look for an answer.
