A large sculpture by the Keeper of the Plains is being repaired by a local artist and will return between February and March of 2014.
Yesterday, the seven-foot bronze sculpture known as "The Troll" was removed from its home. The sculpture was located underneath a drainage grate near the Westar building and the Keeper of the Plains.
In July 2012, city workers noticed that the sculpture was vandalized. One of the troll’s arms was missing.
The troll was sculpted by local artist Constance Ernatt and installed in 2007 during the Keeper of the Plains Plaza project.
