A Wellington man is facing charges in connection to an accident that left a woman dead last year.
According to NewsCow, on Wednesday 47-year-old Allen Greeno was arrested on a warrant charging him with Involuntary Manslaughter.
The charge is the result of an accident on March 21, 2012 in which 51-year-old Mary Anne Towne of Arkansas City was killed.
Early that morning, Greeno was driving near US Highway 77 and Country Club Road south of Winfield when he missed a curve. His truck crashed into a tree.
Towne was pronounced dead at the scene.
Greeno has since recovered and since that time, the county attorney's office had been considering possible charges.
