Primary election results are in for Sedgwick County.
Josh Blick was one of four candidates running to fill the fourth district council seat left behind by Michael O'Donnel. Blick along with Jeff Blubaugh are the two candidates that will move forward to the general election.
"It's amazing to see so much support, so much from family and friends, but most importantly to the constituents here is district 4" said Blick.
Before all precincts reported at 8:30 p.m., Jeff Blubaugh said, "It always makes you anxious as a candidate but I'm pretty excited and I am optimistic."
Two members currently on the City Council were also victorious. Janet Miller along with James Clendenin both advance to the April elections.
"I think overall people know that we have some hard decisions we've had to make. they know we're putting thought into those decisions, and they're pleased with that so far," said Clendenin.
The snow didn't keep more than 4,200 Sedgwick County voters from casting their ballot Tuesday.
