The Sedgwick County Animal Response Team in cooperation with Inter-Faith Ministries is hosting quarterly pet wellness clinics for pets and their owners affected by homelessness.
Currently, clinics are scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m. on October 12, 2013, March 8, 2014 and July 12, 2014. The clinics will be set up at the Inter-Faith Ministries building located at 841 N. Broadway.
The clinics will function as practice drills for volunteers and offer free pet wellness exams, vaccinations and city licenses for pets whose owners are experiencing or have recently experienced homelessness. Exams will be provided by licensed veterinarians, and all services are free of charge at the clinic.
Service is limited to dogs and cats. Kansas Spay and Neuter Clinic will also provide vouchers for sterilization and be available to set up appointments.
Service is by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, you may visit 841 N. Broadway or call 263-0006.
The Sedgwick County Animal Response Team is an all-volunteer organization.
