WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita police said a woman pulled from a health club swimming pool suffered a medical problem.
The woman was inside Fitness 2000, in the Parklane Shopping Center in the 1400 block of South Oliver last night
"She was still breathing very shallowly on her own," Sedgwick County EMS Division Leader Kevin Hartley told KAKE News.
Staff at the gym say the women had been doing laps in the pool. She was found later with her face underwater by a gym member leaving the sauna area. Once that member realized what was happening, she ran for help.
Police said the 57-year-old woman had a history of seizures.
