The Cowley County Sheriff's Office hopes help from the public can located a man connected to human remains found earlier this month.

The remains were discovered March 11th in the 7000 block of 146th road, northwest of Winfield. The remains are still undergoing tests to try to determine who they may belong to.

A hospital bracelet with the name Adam Miller was located in the area with the date of September 9 on it. Authorities cannot say if the remains belong to Miller. Attempts to locate him so far have been unsuccessful.

Miller was known to authorities, but he was not believed to have been from the area. The sheriff's office would like to talk to Miller or anyone who may have had contact with him.

If you have any information, contact the Cowley County Sheriff's Office at 620-221-5444.
