A driver hurt in a Memorial Day crash in western Sedgwick County has died of his injuries.
Authorities responded to the scene near 135th St. West and MacArthur just before 9 a.m. Monday. The Sedgwick County Sheriff's office said Cody Hart, 21, was driving south on 135th St., when his car struck a westbound vehicle.
Hart was ejected from his car, and flown to a Wichita hospital in critical condition. He later died from his injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle, Jack Paulson, 82, was transported to a nearby hospital where he was treated and released.
The sheriff's office said the accident remains under investigation.

Two people have been taken to local hospitals after a serious accident just outside of Wichita.
It happened near 135th W. and MacArthur Rd. just before 9 a.m. Monday.
Sgt. Terry Litton, Sedgwick County, said one car was driving south on 135th St., when it collided with a westbound vehicle. Litton said it appeared the southbound driver may have failed to stop at a stop sign, or didn't see the oncoming car.
A 22-year-old man was flown to a Wichita hospital with critical injuries. A 81-year-old man was also transported with potentially serious injuries.
Authorities closed the intersection for several hours as investigators reconstructed the accident.
