Tickets go on sale today for Disney’s The Lion King’s 4-week engagement in Kansas, which begins with performances at Century II Concert Hall on September 4, 2012 and ends on September 30.
Several hundred tickets buyers are expected to be in line by 8:00 a.m. at Century II Performing Arts & Convention Center Expo Hall Box Office.
Ticket buyers waiting in line will receive refreshments and enjoy live entertainment supplied by B98-FM, Channel 96.3, Kissin 102.1, and Power 93.9. The first 100 ticket buyers will receive a complimentary Lion King original Broadway cast recording CD. All others will receive a complimentary Lion King t-shirt.

The ticket sale is expected to be one of the largest on-sale events to take place in the area.
In cities across North America, the average line for The Lion King single ticket sales is between one and two city blocks long, with the first ticket buyer arriving the evening prior.
