Three Seriously Hurt In Sedgwick County Accident

Three people were hospitalized after an accident in southwest Sedgwick County. It happened just after 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of MacArthur Road and 135th Street West.

Officials say a pickup truck is believed to have run a stop sign and struck a sport utility vehicle. The 17-year-old driver of the truck was hospitalized in critical condition.

A man and woman in the SUV were both pinned in their vehicle. They were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The accident is under investigation. The victims' names have not been released.
