Salina, Kan. -- A third person has been arrested in connection to the April, 2013 homicide of Kristen Tyler of Salina.

Salina Police say 21-year-old Megan Wells of Abilene was arrested Tuesday on a Saline County warrant for conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. Bond has been set at $1,000,000.

Kristin Tyler disappeared sometime around April 25 of 2013. Police officers found her car at an apartment complex at 2130 E. Crawford five days later.

Tyler's body was discovered May 9 northwest of Salina near I-135 and south of I-70 close to Stimmel Road. Police arrested 25-year-old Joel Heil and 33-year-old Dane C. DeWeese, of Abilene.

They have already pleaded not guilty in connection to Tyler's death. They are charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

DeWeese's trial is set for March 24 and Heil's trial is scheduled for May 7.
