WICHITA, Kan. — Police are looking for two suspects after several Wichita State shirts were stolen from a Wichita store yesterday.
It happened just after 4:30 p.m. Monday at the Dillons store near 37th and Woodlawn. According to police, a customer saw someone grab several "Play Angry" Wichita State basketball shirts on display near the door, then walk out.
The customer followed the suspect outside, who got into a car being driven by someone else. The customer reached into the car and pulled out several of the shirts before they drove away.
Police say about $300 worth of shirts were taken, but the customer recovered about $80 of that. He was also able to give officers the car's tag number. Suspect descriptions and vehicle information was not released.
