A Kansas teenager has died after a head-on crash in western Kansas.
It happened about eight miles south of Hays around 9:40 a.m. Monday.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Trevor Greathouse, 18, of Larned was driving north on U-183. His vehicle hit a southbound truck head-on.
Greathouse died at the scene. The truck driver, Charles McGinnes, 48, of Hays, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
