Wichita Police are investigating whether a report of shots fired may have been gang-related.
Authorities were called to the scene in the 2900 block of E. 24th St. around 6:35 p.m.
Witnesses said several people were in a yard fighting, when someone fired several shots. No one was hurt, but one of the bullets struck a nearby home.
Officers later stopped a car wanted in connection to the crime. Authorities found a gun that belonged to a 17-year-old boy.
The teenager was booked into juvenile detention for criminal possession of a firearm. However, police do not know whether the suspect was responsible for the disturbance on 24th St.
