A teen was shot, one man was arrested, and police are searching for two suspects following an attempted robbery Saturday evening in north Wichita.
Wichita Police Sgt. Bart Brunscheen said a woman told police that three people armed with handguns entered her residence in the 1200 block of North Hydraulic. A 28-year-old man who lives at the home was also armed, exited a back bedroom and fired multiple times. The suspects then fled in a green Chevy Impala.
A short time later, a 15-year-old boy showed up at Wesley Medical Center with two gunshot wounds. His injuries were not considered life-threatening. Police later determined he was involved in the incident on North Hydraulic.
The man who fired at the suspects was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Police are searching for the two additional suspect involved. Descriptions were not available, but Brunscheen said police have the license plate number off the Impala.
Brunscheen says police are investigating possible involvement of drugs.

A teenager has minor injuries after a shooting incident in Wichita Saturday evening.
The teenager walked into the emergency room of Wesley Medical Center aroun 9 p.m. with two minor gunshot wounds. He has since been treated and released from the hospital according to Wichita Police.
Police are still investigating the incident to try to determine what lead up to the shooting and where it actually took place. No other details have been released.
