A Wichita teen put a knife to his brother’s throat after becoming upset while the two were playing a video game early Sunday morning.

Police were called to the 3800 block of East Ross Parkway around 1:15 a.m.

Wichita Police Sgt. Bart Brunscheen said the brothers, ages 15 and 20, were playing a video game when the 15-year-old became upset. He grabbed a knife, held it to his brother’s throat and threatened to cut off his genitals.

Police arrested the teen for aggravated assault and criminal threat. The brother was not injured.

The teen was listed as an active runaway, Brunscheen said, and was not shown as living at the same address as his brother.
