Parts of KAKEland could see snow this evening.

Light snow has been falling in South Central Kansas, near the border with Oklahoma. A Winter Weather Advisory is in place for Harper, Sumner, Barber & Comanche Counties until 9:00 p.m.

Managing Meteorologist Jay Prater said the snow should melt as it hits roadways. Grassy areas could see an inch of snow. Prater expects the snow to remain south of US-54.
