Caldwell, Kan. -- A small earthquake Saturday evening near Medford, OK has been felt in Kansas.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports that the earthquake was recorded at 8:41 p.m. about 12 kilometers north of the town of Medford and registered 3.4 on the Richter scale. Residents of Sumner County, including several viewers in Caldwell contacted KAKE News through email and our Facebook page to report feeling the quake.
According to the U.S.G.S., two people reported feeling the earthquake in Caldwell and at least one person in far southeast Wichita reported feeling it as well. There are no reports of any damage.
