WICHITA, Kan. -- A 35-year-old man is recovering at a Wichita hospital after being shot in the leg during an argument early Saturday morning on the city's south side.
The victim showed up around 3 a.m. at Via Christi-St. Francis Hospital for treatment. Officers then located the scene at a home in the 1600 block of East Fortuna Street.
Sgt. Bruce Watts said the victim was involved in an argument with two other men at the home when one of them pulled a handgun and shot the victim in the leg. He was last listed in stable condition.
So far, no arrests have been made. Suspect descriptions were not made available.
