A teen suffered a minor injury when he was hit with a shotgun pellet in a drive-by overnight in north Wichita.
It happened around 1 a.m. in the 2600 block of North Ash Street. A 16-year-old boy told police he was outside when he saw a black SUV. He heard three shots, then noticed he was hit in the shoulder.
The teen had been hit with a pellet from a shotgun blast, but didn't require hospitalization. There's no word of any arrests in the case.
