Dozens of people were cited and others arrested during a seat belt saturation patrol Tuesday night in Sedgwick County.
During the patrol, sheriff's deputies cited 40 adults for seat belt violations. Four people were arrested for driving on a suspended license, three were arrested for warrants and another three on drug charges. Deputies wrote 25 citations for other traffic violations.
The patrol consisted of one sergeant, eight deputies and four reserve deputies and was funded by a Kansas Department of Transportation Grant.

The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office will be conducting another seat belt saturation patrol in an effort to reduce the number of unrestrained drivers.
The latest patrol will happen tonight from 6 until 10 p.m. in an undisclosed portion of the county.
The patrol is supported by a grant from the Kansas Department of Transportation.
