Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued for south central Kansas, including Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. — The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for south central Kansas, including Wichita.

The watch currently includes Butler, Harper, Harvey, Kingman,Marion, McPherson, Reno, Sedgwick and Sumner Counties and is set to expire at 10 p.m.

In north central Kansas, the watch includes Rice and Saline Counties, also until 10 p.m.

In northwest Kansas, there's a watch for Cheyenne, Decatur and Rawlins Counties until 9 p.m.
