The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for a large part of Kansas until 10 p.m. Thursday.

The watch includes the following Kansas counties:

Allen, Anderson, Barber, Bourbon, Butler, Chase, Chautauqua, Cherokee, Clark, Clay, Cloud, Coffey, Comanche, Cowley, Crawford, Dickinson, Douglas, Edwards, Elk, Ellis, Ellsworth, Finney, Ford, Franklin, Geary, Gray, Greenwood, Harper, Harvey, Hodgeman, Jewell, Kearny, Kingman, Kiowa, Labette, Lane, Lincoln, Lyon, Marion, McPherson, Mitchell, Montgomery, Morris, Neosho, Ness, Osage, Osborne, Ottawa, Pawnee, Phillips, Pottawatomie, Pratt, Reno, Republic, Rice, Riley, Rooks, Rush, Russell, Saline,Scott, Sedgwick, Shawnee, Smith, Stafford, Sumner, Trego, Wabaunsee, Washington, Wilson and Woodson.
