UPDATE: Roads Across Kansas Snowpacked

The Kansas Department of Transportation reports roads are snowpacked across the state following a winter storm.

KDOT says Interstate 70 has re-opened and is snowpacked. I-70 had been closed from Hays to Colorado Sunday.

Wichita received 4 1/2 inches of snow. Roads are slick.

The Kansas Department of Transportation says several major roads in Western Kansas have been closed due to snow.

Interstate 70 from Mingo to the Colorado state line is closed. Further to the east on Interstate 70, a stretch of about 10 miles west from Wakeeney is closed.

K27 between I-70 and Highway 36 is closed. 36 is closed between St. Francis and the state border.

K-96 from Tribune to the Colorado state line is also closed due to snow. For the latest information on road conditions across the state, Click here
