EL DORADO, Kan. -- The sentencing for an Augusta woman who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder has been postponed.

Susan L. May will have to appear in the Butler County Courthouse at 2 p.m. on April 15.

May's defense attorney filed a motion to reduce sentence. A prosecutor said she was given one day's notice on the motion and would like more time to prepare for the case.

The 13th Judicial District Judge Jan Satterfield honored that request. She said that May has one misdemeanor on her record -- a DUI conviction on Aug. 21, 2002. May faces a possible 109 to 123 months in prison.
