The driver of a tractor-trailer was seriously hurt in a rollover accident on a Lane County Highway. It happened just after 9:00 this morning on Kansas Highway 4, about one mile east of Healy.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 65-year-old Ronald Riner, of Scott City, was westbound when he drove into a ditch and overcorrected. The semi then slid and rolled onto its top.
A witness says the wide-load semi was hauling a field sprayer containing water.
Riner was transported to a local hospital in serious condition and was later flown to a hospital in Hays.
