Self-Described 'Debt Collector' Stabbed In The Neck

Wichita Police are looking for two people, accused of stabbing a 33-year-old man in the neck with a screwdriver.

It began around midnight Saturday morning when police were called to Wesley Medical Center where a 33-year-old man had arrived with a stab wound to the neck.

The victim told police that he is a "collector" and his friends had asked him to collect a debt of $2,200 from the suspects. The man had taken the two suspects motorcycle and was holding it ransom until they paid the money owed.

The suspects spotted the man riding the motorcycle in the College Hill-area and there was a confrontation near the pool in the 300 block of South Circle Drive.

One of the suspects punched the victim in the face while the other stabbed him in the neck. Police are looking for a man in his 30's and a woman in her 20's.
