WICHITA, Kan. — Sedgwick County sheriff's deputies arrested seven people during a DUI saturation patrol over the weekend.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office conducted a DUI saturation patrol late Saturday into early Sunday in an undisclosed portion of the county.
During the patrol, deputies arrested six adults for DUI and another adult for a bench warrant.
The sheriff's office says these patrols are an effort to decrease the number of intoxicated drivers, and they're funded by Kansas Department of Transportation grants.
The latest patrol consisted of one sergeant and four deputies.
