The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday, August 31, between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. in an undisclosed part of Sedgwick County.
The sheriff's office says this checkpoint is designed to identify intoxicated drivers. Those motorists suspected of intoxication will be given onsite Field Sobriety tests. All efforts will be made to limit the interruption of traffic flow, but many drivers will be stopped as part of this program.
