Sedgwick County has set up a tree debris burn site to assist with cleanup following last week's severe storm.

The county set up the site at 63rd Street South and Meridian at the Big Ditch. It will open at 1 p.m. this afternoon and will be available to residents of all cities, townships and business within Sedgwick County, free of charge. Sedgwick County Public Works will also have a tree debris loader on site to assist.

This burn site is intended only for tree and brush debris. Other debris, including fences, structure remains, etc. will not be accepted.

The burn site will be available throughout the month of July, including the holiday tomorrow.
