Police have identified the man who drowned while fleeing officers Saturday.
Officers say 30-year-old Jeremy D. Horton of Arkansas City walked into the Rusty Eck Ford dealership in east Wichita with knives Saturday night.
Police were called, and when officers arrived the man drove away before bailing out and jumping into a Park City pond.
Horton was found a short time later, and pronounced dead at the scene.

A suspect who led police on a chase through east and north Wichita Saturday night drowned after ditching his vehicle and jumping into a pond north of Park City.
It began shortly after 9 p.m. when a 32-year-old man entered Rusty Eck Ford in the 7300 block of East Kellogg and was acting suspicious, Wichita Police Capt. Hassan Ramzah said. Employees at the dealership called police and reported that the man had knives clipped to his belt.
When officers arrived, the suspect fled. A chase ensued from westbound Kellogg to northbound I-135. The suspect then exited onto northbound Hydraulic, where officers deployed spike strips.
The suspect kept driving and eventually ditched his car and jumped into a pond near 69th Street North and Hydraulic, just north of Park City . The man went under the water and did not come back up.
Dive teams were called out to search for the suspect who was pulled from the water around 10:20 p.m. EMS spent about 30 minutes trying to revive him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
