Many people have reported receiving text messages, that claim to be from electronic giant Best Buy. But the retailer says it's just a scam.
The cell phone users receive a text saying they have won a $1000 gift card at Best Buy. A spokeswoman for the company said the text messages have been ciruculating all over the country for weeks now.
These texts are not real and it's just a phishing scam to get your personal information. Best Buy does not send text messages of any kind.
The best thing to do if you get this message is to ignore it and not respond.
