Nestle is recalling its Nesquik chocolate powders sold in the United States over concerns of a possible salmonella contamination.

The company announced the voluntary recall Thursday. The recall is limited to only 10.9, 21.8 and 40.7-ounce containers of Nesquik Chocolate Powder. No other varieties or sizes are being recalled, the company said.

Nestle pulled the products after an ingredient supplier, Omya, Inc., notified Nestle that calcium carbonate may have been contaminated. No illnesses have been reported, Nestle said.

The recalled powders were produced in October and consumers should look for the production code on the bottom of the canister to see if their product is part of the recall. The code is found next to the expiration date.

For recalled 40.7-ounce chocolate powder, the production codes are 2282575810 and 2282574820.

For 21.8-ounce containers, the affected codes are 2278574810, 2278574820, 2279574810, 2279574820, 2284574820, 2284574830, 2285574810, 2285574820, 2287574820, 2289574810 and 2289574820.

For 10.9 ounce chocolate powder (19 servings), the affected production code is 2278574810.
