WICHITA, Kan. — Riverfest 2014 kicked off in Wichita this morning. The annual gathering began today and will end on Saturday, June 7.
Some streets in downtown Wichita will be closed for the parade, concert, and fireworks this evening.
Some highlights for today include the opening ceremony at the Keeper of the Plains at 11:30 a.m., the Sundown Parade downtown beginning at 6:30 p.m., and the fireworks show at 9:45 p.m.
Buttons will get you into the nine-days of events. Adult buttons are $5 and children's buttons are $3.
