Reno County Motorcycle Accident Sends Man To Wichita Hospital

The Reno County Sheriff's Office investigated a crash between a motorcycle and a deer.

It happened shortly before 4 a.m. Saturday near 95th Avenue and Salt Marsh Road, near the Reno/Stafford County line. Great Bend 911 dispatchers contacted Reno County after they received a call from a man who said he had collided with a deer and wasn't sure where he was.

Paramedics eventually found 33-year-old Bradley Poe of Larned and transported him to Stafford County Hospital. Poe was later airlifted to Wichita for treatment.

He has since been treated and released from the hospital.
