Rain, sleet, snow and wind for KAKEland

WICHITA, Kan. -- A round of rain, sleet, and accumulating snow slides across KAKEland today. The highest snow totals will be along and north of I-70 where some locations could see close to 3" of total accumulation.

A mix of rain, sleet and snow will move through Wichita before the noon hour. Accumulation will be minimal and confined to grassy and soft surfaces.

The second impact that will impact all of KAKEland is the wind associated with this area of low pressure. A high wind warning has been posted for Sedgwick County until 11am. Wind gusts could top 50mph before 11am with 40mph+ wind gusts this afternoon.
