Since releasing the photos below earlier this week, Wichita police officers have received several tips concerning their list of top 10 gang members, but still haven't tracked any down.
Lt. Scott Heimerman of the department's gang unit released pictures of the top 10 most wanted gang members on Monday with the hope that by taking them into custody, it will help prevent more gang violence from erupting.
Heimerman says there are more than 1,000 documented active gang members in Wichita. He also said that two shootings, one at 15th and Green and another at 11th and Mosley, are gang-related.
If you have information on the two cases or the whereabouts of any of the men below, call 911 or Crime Stoppers at (316) 267-2111. You could be eligible for a cash reward.
