Pratt Child In Protective Custody After Signs Of Abuse
During the child's treatment, the physicians and caretakers diagnosed the child with internal head and soft tissue injuries.

Pratt Police Investigators were contacted by officers of the Wichita Police Department this morning with information that a 2-month-old child from Pratt had been admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Via Christi St. Francis around 2:30 a.m. today.
During the child's treatment, the physicians and caretakers diagnosed the child with internal head and soft tissue injuries.
Based upon the WPD preliminary investigation, the child was taken into protective custody, and the case was referred to the Pratt Police Department.
Investigators are working with the family in order to determine the origin of the injuries.
