Police Identify Pedestrian Killed By Vehicle
A 24-year-old man was hit and killed by a vehicle as he tried to walk home early Saturday.

A 24-year-old man was hit and killed by a vehicle as he tried to walk home early Saturday. Police released more information about the case today.
Police said a group of people on a party bus were dropped at a club at Towne West Square late Friday. Two of the partygoers, who lived nearby, decided to walk home at 2:00 a.m. Saturday. Police said the two jumped a fence and tried to cross I-235. Steven Wittrig, 24, was struck by a car driving northbound on I-235.
Police said there are indications everyone involved had been drinking.
