Police seek suspect who attempted to abduct Kansas girl

CLAY CENTER, Kan. (WIBW) -- Police are on the lookout for a man they say attempted to abduct a 13-year-old girl from Clay Center.

Clay Center Police describe the suspect as a white male, between the ages of 20 and 30, six feet tall with a thin build with dark hair and a "big nose." He was wearing a red shirt with black stars and blue jeans. He was driving a white two-door truck.

Clay Center Police say the young girl was walking in the area of Lincoln School when the man attempted to abduct her. The girl was able to run away and lose the man in an alley.

Police told 13 News Monday morning that they are doing follow-ups with KBI and will get a composite drawing on the suspect later in the day.
