ANDOVER, Kan. -- The search for two missing teens from Andover has ended in Kansas City.
Kansas City, Missouri police said 15-year-old Zachary Furechting and 15-year-old Alanna Ardanche were found at a fast food restaurant at Truman & Cleveland this morning. Police said both are in good condition and were alone.
According to Andover police, they both left Andover Central High School voluntarily Monday morning. They were believed to be in possession of a handgun.
Police are searching for two Andover teenagers who went missing Monday.
The Andover Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating 15-year-old Zachary Furechting and 15-year-old Alanna Ardanche.
According to police, they both left Andover Central High School voluntarily Monday morning and were last seen in the Kansas City, Missouri area shortly before noon Tuesday. They are believed to be traveling together and have possession of a handgun.
Fruechting is a white male, about 6-feet tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark brown Carhart type jacket, black jeans, black high tops with colored stripes, a t-shirt and a black and white striped slouch beanie.
Ardanche is a white female, about 5-feet, 2-inches tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Her left ear is pierced. A relative says she was last seen wearing black leggings, a red American Eagle long sleeve t-shirt, black ballet slipper-type shoes and a black leather jacket with gray sweatshirt material sleeves. She may also be wearing a blue beanie.
