UPDATE: Police search for 2 following armed robbery in NE Wichita

Wichita, Kan. -- Wichita Police are looking for two men who robbed a Popeye's Chicken Monday night in Northeast Wichita.

It happened around 8 p.m. at the franchise located near 13th and Hillside. Authorities say two men, one armed with a handgun, entered the store wearing masks, ordered eight people to the floor and demanded money.

The men fled out of the back of the business with an undetermined amount of money. As they were leaving, they fired a shot but no one was hurt.

The robbery is still under investigation and so far no arrests have been made.

The first suspect is described as 6-feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing brown work boots, jeans, a ski mask and black gloves.

The other suspect was about 5-feet, 8-inches tall with a medium build, black jeans, a black ski mask and black gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
