ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Police are looking for a dog that attacked two llamas in Arkansas City late last month.

On December 23, officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of South F Street after witnesses reported that a dog was attacking two llamas. Two people yelled at the dog until it ran away.

Due to the seriousness of injuries to the llamas, they were both put down by a police officer who arrived on scene.

Officers are trying to locate the dog out of concern that it may attack a person. Police are sure that the dog's owners know that it attacked something due to the amount of blood witnessed at the time of the incident.

The dog was described as being light tan in color with a long tail and had a black collar.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Arkansas City Police Department at (620) 441-4444.
