WICHITA, Kan. -- A baby is in protective custody after doctors found drugs in his system.
Around 12:30 this morning, parents brought their one-year-old to Wesley Medical Center, saying he was very hyper.
After running tests, doctors found that the boy had amphetamines in his system and called police.
Officers from the Exploited and Missing Children's Unit (EMCU) are now investigating, and have taken the child and his three-year-old sister into protective custody.
The child remains hospitalized. No one has been arrested.
